Every boy deserves a childhood full of hope.
Raha Kids is a Christian home, school and family for boys who have known the streets, poverty or abandonment — a place where uncertainty is replaced with care, education, belonging and the love of Christ.
More than shelter — a whole childhood restored
A boy leaving the streets needs more than a meal. He needs protection, schooling, guidance, play and a family. Raha Kids brings all of it together under one roof.
A safe, loving home
Boys who have known abandonment, neglect or life on the streets find stability, dependable adults and a true sense of belonging.
Education that rebuilds
Full primary and middle-school education restores literacy, numeracy and confidence — often after years of interrupted schooling.
Talents & play
Football, acrobatics, drama, film, music, art and computers help every boy discover the gifts the streets never let him see.
Faith & character
The boys experience the love of Jesus Christ through those who care for them, growing in honesty, responsibility and hope.
The need is real — and so is the change
Estimates from 2007 put 250,000–300,000 children living or working on Kenya’s streets, over 60,000 of them in Nairobi. Behind every number is a boy with a name, a story and a future worth investing in.
From the streets to a family
Boys arrive at Raha Kids from many roads — orphanhood, abandonment, extreme poverty, or years of surviving alone. From the day they walk through our doors, the journey changes direction.
